In this lesson in chapter 16 Paul begins his 2nd missionary journey revisiting the churches he established in his first journey with Barnabas, to see how all of the newly converted disciples are doing and to encourage them. This time, Paul has a new companion, Silas (a prophet) instead of Barnabas, since Paul and Barnabas had their falling out over wether or not to take John-Mark on this journey. Paul picks up another teaching companion while in Lystra, Timothy, and extends his travels beyond Asia Minor into Greece.
