We didn't get to talk about the January 31st reading much so I thought I'd leave a comment about it. I had not noticed before that Joshua is Moses' assistant already and put in a position to train for leadership so soon. I had always thought that after he was sent as a spy to Canaan was when he was given a position. It's no wonder he does answer that God can deliver them into Canaan after seeing all the amazing works of God while working with Moses. He was closer to it than anybody else.
Also, Israel does seem to learn their lesson when Moses goes to get the commandments the second time. Moses is gone for another 40 days, yet the second time they don't get scared and lose their faith in God and Moses. They know he'll be back and stay strong the second time around. They must not have wanted that punishment again.

Hi Danny,

Karen and I got home last night and received your email about going to the website for info about keeping up with congregational reading of the Chronological Bible.

This is a wonderful project which will keep the entire congregation working together as we read through God's Word in 2012. Awesome! All the brethren will be on "the same page" as we do this as a family.

Those with computers will gain special helps from the website.

Brother Dave.

Danny, you nailed it. The last part is the key with the explanation given by the very scripture it was taken from. Let me suggest you consider it a bit further and recognize that David was a prophet and the entire 22nd Psalm are the thoughts of Jesus on the cross and some of those thoughts He actually said out loud as He hung on that cross. I just discovered your website, so I enjoyed a few of your sermons. Thanks Again Rick Byrd Minister C of C El Centro, Ca. P.S. I hope things are going well for you.
